The Nuclear Engineering Technology Program at Augusta Technical College has been utilizing PULSTAR Reactor Operations Workshops to train its students for the past 5 years. From 2015 through 2019, ~50 associate degree students participated in workshops in reactor operations fundamentals with hands-on reactor operations evolutions. These workshops have been supported by the Southern Nuclear Operating Company’s Vogtle Plant workforce development initiatives.
